About USC 202
Offered during the fall semester, USC 202: Career Exploration and Development is a 2 credit hour course designed for students who are considering changing their major or are still exploring academic and career possibilities. This course offers a focused classroom environment where students can actively engage in self-discovery and decision-making with guidance from career development professionals.
Throughout the course, students will explore their strengths, interests, values, skills, and personality to better understand how these factors influence academic and career choices. The course also introduces the concept of career resiliency, helping students build adaptability and confidence as they navigate change and uncertainty.
Students will participate in hands-on activities to better understand their motivations and develop habits that support long-term success. By the end of the course, students will have a clearer direction and a personalized plan for moving forward.
