OnePack Empowered is a new University initiative that supports and empowers students with executive functioning challenges and those who are neurodivergent.

The OnePack Empowered program is made possible thanks to a generous gift from Dave and Sara Doeren.

The OnePack Empowered program is for undergraduate degree-seeking students who have gained full admission to NC State University. Participants may include incoming first-year students, transfer students, or current students.

The OnePack Empowered program launched in spring 2023 and is currently serving 15 NC State students.

Mission Statement

The mission of the OnePack Empowered program is to support neurodivergent students by identifying their unique needs and supporting their academic and career goals.

Applications for fall 2024 will be available on May 15, 2024, and must be submitted by July 26, 2024, for priority consideration. The program does have a limited capacity.

Learning Outcomes

As a result of participating in OnePack Empowered students will: 

  1. Identify, prioritize, and use campus resources that support their NC State success.
  2. Develop a success plan to accomplish their academic and career goals.
  3. Evaluate successful and challenging experiences to guide decision-making.
  4. Develop a sense of community with the OnePack Empowered cohort.
