Getting Started with ePACK

ePACK is your top source for career development at NC State. This easy-to-use online system gives you 24/7 access to information about job opportunities and events that will help you advance your job search.

Through ePACK, you can:

  • Search and apply for internships and entry-level jobs
  • Schedule an appointment with a career counselor
  • Schedule on-campus interviews with employers
  • Find career fairs (on campus and through consortiums), including the Law School Fair and Health Career Expo
  • Search for career-related events and activities

Searching for Internships & Jobs

Before you apply to positions, have your résumé reviewed at the Career Development Center, then upload it to the “Documents” section in ePACK.

  • Under “Shortcuts,” select “Search for Co-ops, Internships & Jobs.”
  • Select “More Filters” to see all search criteria.
  • Specify your interested criteria, and then click the red “Search” button.
  • Read the posting description(s), choose the position you wish to apply to, and select “Apply” on the top right side of the screen.

*NOTE: Employers may have you apply directly through their website instead of via ePACK; they will indicate the web address in the position description.

Scheduling an Appointment

  • Go to Shortcuts > Schedule an appointment.
  • Scroll down to Counselor(s); you can leave all other filters blank.
  • Select your Career Counselor or Co-op Advisor; select “Check Availability.”
  • Select a time/day that works best for your schedule, and indicate the type of appointment you need before selecting “Submit Request.”

To Cancel your Appointment:

  • In the Toolbar, select Counseling & Calendar > Counseling Appointments.
  • Select the three dots on the right side of the appointment you wish to cancel, then select “cancel.”

IMPORTANT NOTE: If this is the first time you are logging into ePACK this semester: it is essential that your education information in the “Profile” tab (located in the Toolbar) is completely updated and accurate. You will also need to ensure that your personal information in the “My Account” tab is accurate, or you will have issues scheduling appointments and applying to employment opportunities.
