Getting Started with ePACK
ePACK is your ultimate resource for career development at NC State. This user-friendly online platform offers 24/7 access to valuable information on job openings and events designed to enhance your job search journey. Employers actively use ePACK to engage with NC State's talented students and alumni. ePACK offers a wealth of resources, including information about upcoming events, online tools, internship and co-op opportunities, as well as part-time and full-time job postings.
ePACK is a free service provided for students and alumni.
Through ePACK, you can:
- Search and apply for various internships, co-ops, part-time, or full-time positions
- Schedule an appointment with a career counselor
- Find information about career fairs and other career-related events
- Engage with employers
- Access comprehensive tools, online resources, and helpful links

Make sure your Academic Profile is updated and accurate. Additionally, verify that your personal information is accurate in order to avoid any complications when scheduling appointments and applying for job opportunities.
To Schedule An Appointment
- Log into ePACK: https://go.ncsu.edu/ePACK
- Go to Counseling > Request new appointment.
- Scroll down to Counselor(s); you can leave all other filters blank.
- Select your Career Counselor or Co-op Advisor; select “Check Availability.”
- Select a time/day that works best for your schedule, and indicate the type of appointment you need before selecting “Submit Request.”
- Students can schedule an appointment up to 14 days in advance.
- If you have trouble scheduling an appointment, call the Career Development Center at 919.515.2396.
To Cancel An Appointment
- Log into ePACK: https://go.ncsu.edu/ePACK
- Go to Counseling > Approved Appointments.
- Select the three dots on the right side of the appointment you wish to cancel, then select “cancel.”
Search for Jobs and Internships
Before you apply to positions, have your résumé reviewed at the Career Development Center.
- Log into ePACK: https://go.ncsu.edu/ePACK
- Go to Jobs.
- Select the filters you wish to use, and be sure to click “Apply.” Results will populate.
- Select “Create Job Alert” if you would like to get job alerts for the search.
- Read the posting description(s), choose the position you wish to apply to, and select “Apply” on the top right side of the screen.
- Employers may request that you apply directly through their website, as opposed to using ePACK. In such cases, they will provide the relevant web address in the “Apply” section.
Search for an Event or Workshop
- Log into ePACK: https://go.ncsu.edu/ePACK
- Click on “Events” and “Type” and select “Career Fairs,” “Workshops,” or “Employer Information Sessions.”
- Find the event you want to attend.
- Click on “Attend.”
- note: some events do not ask for a RSVP, follow the posted guidance.
Upload your Resume and Other Documents
- Log into ePACK: go.ncsu.edu/ePACK
- In the Toolbar, select “Add a Resume.
- Select “Add New” and indicate a label for your document, the document type from the menu, and then chose your intended PDF document by selecting “Choose File.”
- Select “Submit” to upload your document.
- Once uploaded, you may use your documents to apply for job and internship postings directly on ePACK.
- note: You can upload multiple documents if you are applying to multiple positions.
To Use Pathways
- Login to your ePACK account: go.ncsu.edu/epack
- Go to the Resources tab at the top of the page.
- Click on Pathways.
- Select which Pathway you would like to explore.
- Select “Start” to begin the Pathway.
