Recruiting and Retaining a Diverse Workforce – Virtual Edition fall 2020
Employers – you are invited to an interactive session hosted by the Women and Minority Engineering Programs (WMEP) and the Career Development Center at NC State on “Recruiting and Retaining a Diverse Workforce.” This opportunity will be held on Wednesday, September 9 from 5:30-7 p.m. over Zoom.
In this session, research-based approaches to making a difference in your workforce diversity will be featured. Using these techniques has led to NC State University becoming a national leader in women in engineering, with 29% of our incoming class being women, as compared to the 18% national average. There will also be discussion about messaging and recruiting practices for industry and government agencies.
This event is free but registration is required for each person attending. Please register at the link below. The Zoom information will be sent to registrants before the event.
This event is only for employers. There will not be any students at this event.
