Law School Application Preparation Workshop

Wednesday, October 7 | 5–6:30 p.m. | Riddick 301

What goes into a strong law school application? Pre-Law Advising will walk students through the application process and help them better understand what to expect as they prepare to apply.

The workshop will help students learn about the different components of a law school application, consider their application timeline and ask questions about the process. 

Law School Personal Statement Workshop

Wednesday, October 14 | 5–6:30 p.m. | Riddick 301

A personal statement gives applicants an opportunity to tell law schools more about who they are beyond their academic credentials.

During this interactive workshop, Pre-Law Advising will provide guidance on developing an effective personal statement for law school. Students should come prepared to participate in writing activities as they learn strategies for identifying topics, developing their story and approaching the writing process.

Alumni Lawyers Panel and Networking Night

Tuesday, October 20 | 5:30–7 p.m. | Talley 3222

What is law school really like? What does the path from NC State to a legal career look like? And what is it actually like to work as an attorney?

Students can hear those perspectives directly from members of the Wolfpack during the annual Alumni Lawyers Panel and Networking Night, hosted by the NC State Alumni Association and Pre-Law Advising.

The event gives students the chance to hear from NC State alumni working in the legal profession, ask questions about their experiences and make connections with professionals who once stood where they are today. 

2026 NC State Law School Fair

Representatives from 30 law schools from across the country will come to NC State to meet with students and share information about their institutions, admissions requirements, application processes and law school opportunities.
