Whether you’re an undergraduate, a graduate student, or a recent college graduate, the Marine Corps Officer Program offers a path to earn your commission while developing unmatched leadership skills.

Why Choose the Marine Corps?

Becoming a Marine Officer is more than a job—it’s a calling. Through PLC and OCC, you’ll gain:

  • Leadership Development: The most rigorous leadership training available, preparing you to lead in high-pressure environments.
  • Financial Support While in School: Up to $9000 of training pay, with opportunities for tuition assistance and financial benefits.
  • Guaranteed Career Opportunities: Upon graduation and commissioning, you’ll enter directly into one of several officer specialties.
  • Elite Network: Join a lifelong brotherhood and sisterhood, with connections across military and civilian leadership.

Match Your Path with the Right Program

  • Platoon Leaders Class (PLC):
For undergraduates. Train at Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Quantico, VA—two 6-week sessions or one 10-week session during summer breaks.
  • Officer Candidates Course (OCC):
For seniors and graduates. A 10-week OCS program in Quantico, VA, leading directly to commissioning as a Second Lieutenant.

Both paths = Your Degree + Your Training = Your Commission.
