The NC State Career Development Center is offering an externship opportunity to the EPA – Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS) on Friday, November 15.
Transportation will be provided.
We will be leaving campus at 8:30 a.m. and returning by 2:30 p.m.
The EPA is seeking student interns for the RTP, Durham, NC campus. Specific positions include:
Environmental Protection Specialist Trainee (GS-0099/05/07)
Interdisciplinary Life Scientist Trainee (GS-499-05/07)
Interdisciplinary General Engineer Trainee (GS-899/05/07)
Interdisciplinary Physical Scientist Trainee (GS-1399/05/07)
IT Specialist Trainee (GS-2299/09)
All students are welcome to attend. This is a federal facility so attendees will be required to provide a REAL ID or an approved alternative form of ID.
The externship agenda:
8:30 am – Leave NC State 9:30 am – Students Arrive, EPA Lobby, Building C
10:00 – 10:45 am – Welcome, OAQPS Panel, Q&A session
10:45 – 11:30 am – Human Resources/Hiring Process Overview
11:30 – 12:00 am – Building Tour
12:00 – 1:00 pm – Lunch
1:15 pm – Depart and return to campus
