Diversity Networking Night hosted by Women and Minority Engineering Programs (WMEP)

The Women and Minority Engineering Programs (WMEP) in the College of Engineering will be hosting a Diversity Networking Night on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.

There will be a virtual event from 5-7 p.m. and an in-person event from 7-9 p.m.

The virtual event will be held on the Career Fair Plus platform from 5-7 p.m.

The in-person event will be held in the Talley Student Center Ballroom from 7-9 p.m.

This networking event will bring together companies and candidates to connect and network in an informal setting before the Engineering Career Fair.

  • Career Fair Plus – download the Career Fair Plus app or go to the web portal to see employers that are attending both in-person and virtually and schedule meetings with those attending virtually.
  • Virtual Career Fair Resources – a variety of resources for students regarding the virtual career fair platform.
  • Career Development Center – need assistance with your resume, job search strategies, elevator speech, want to meet with you Career Counselor?
  • The scheduling window for the virtual schedules will open on Monday, January 24 at 5 p.m.

The mission of Women and Minority Engineering Programs (WMEP) is to develop and maintain programs that assist in the recruitment, retention, mentoring, job placement and graduation of top quality, underrepresented (women, African American, Native American and Hispanic) students within the College of Engineering at NC State University.
